Palem Srikanth Reddy is Telugu Desam Party’s Kadapa MP candidate in 2009 elections against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Even though he lost in the election, Srikanth Reddy was active in the party and is even running a professional wing of TDP, Telugu Sankethika Nipunula Vibagham (TSNV). But now Srikanth is being inactive in Telugu Desam Party for the last few days.
It was earlier said he will be joining in Aam Admi Party and running the AP unit of AAP. But it is not the case now. Srikanth is planning to float a new political party. He is reportedly making all the arrangements for the party. Former Accountant General Vedakumari, alumni of IITs and IIM and his former associates of TSNV will be working closely with him in the party. Yuvapadham, Janapadham and Manapadham are the names in consideration for the party. We will have to see how this new party plays a part in the political stage of the state in the coming years.
