Palace and Bunker to Bring Back Nizam JewelryMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi had raised the issue of bringing back the Nizam’s fabled jewelry, which is stashed in Delhi. He also cited that as the Centre’s rules and regulations and the Supreme Court’s directions to bring back the jewelry.

According to the rules, the jewelry can be brought back if any member of the royal family is willing to hand over their palace to keep the jewelry in safe custody. Owaisi also brought to the notice of the government that Princess Esra has offered to hand over the King Koti Palace, which has a bunker, to store the jewelry.

He urged the Chief Minister to pursue the case with the Centre seriously and ensure the jewelry comes back here with which the identity of Hyderabad will come back. KCR assured that he would take up the issue with the Centre, and the government will make all efforts to bring back the jewelry to Hyderabad.
