It looks like YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is slowly losing grip on the party. We have already seen that when the leaders have hit the street protesting after the cabinet expansion.
And then, there is Anil Kumar Yadav who is leading a protest against the newly appointed minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy.
For those who do not know, Anil is organizing a public meeting in Nellore at the same time, as a welcome rally is being organized for Kakani this evening.
Anil is denying any issues with Kakani but is still working behind the scenes to ensure no co-operation for the minister in the district.
After being silent for all these days, YSR Congress sent leaks to the media that the party is serious about the affairs of Nellore. But they could not do anything to avert the rift.
“Party seniors spoke to Kakani and Anil Kumar Yadav. They instructed them to have the programs without any issue,” the leak said.
Ideally, they should do something to avert a clash of both programs. They should ensure one of the two programs is postponed so that there is no issue.
But lack of grip on the party leaders means they can ensure such postponement.
