Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu recently announced that the state government will issue bonds to the people which will fund the cost of the grandiose plans of the upcoming state capital. Naidu has promised interest more than the banks for these bonds.
But then, the Opposition is successfully twisting this statement of Chandrababu and is ridiculing the government of asking the lands as well as loans from the people. This is a dangerous narrative the government should take care of.
Capital Bonds are like asking Investments from the People but not loans. The government will announce the benefits and interest of these bonds, people who will find them profitable for them will obviously purchase. It is a win-win for both the sides.
