Opinion: Politics Affecting Acharya Is A Joke!Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s Acharya has become a big debacle at the box office. The openings are also shockingly low and a disastrous first weekend is on cards from here.

People are dissecting the film bringing reasons for the failure. While the mistakes in the content have been already discussed, some armchair pundits are saying that politics is the reason for the failure.

TDP supporters, as usual, do not watch the film and they say YSR Congress supporters are distanced from the movie because of Pawan Kalyan.

It is a joke something of such sort is happenings. As far as TDP supporters are considered, it is the same always. Some of them still watch all movies and some do not watch. Nothing has changed.

It is a big joke in the case of YSR Congress supporters. It is clear to everyone that Chiranjeevi set aside his own brother to stay in the good books of Jagan.

We have seen him plead with Jagan with folded hands about ticket price issues. The government allowed a price hike for the film even though it do not meet the criteria set.

After all this, it will be a joke if YSR Congress supporters are angry with Chiranjeevi because of Pawan Kalyan.

Leaving these arguments aside, politics rarely impact films. We have seen Chiranjeevi scoring a blockbuster with Khaidi No 150 when his political image is at an all-time low.

Acharya’s failure is more about bad content. Let’s keep it that way!
