Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao had instructed his Minister to go to their constituencies and oversee the Corona Control Measures. Finance Minister Harish Rao has been following it religiously. He is going around the constituency educating the people about the care that needs to be taken to prevent the contagious virus.
The videos of his interactions were seen on social media in the last few days and are giving a positive feeling about the Minister. But then, one video has ruined it all. Harish is seen interacting with an old man who does not even know the name of the virus.
After a cool interaction about how things are happening in the village, Harish asks the old man his caste. Even though it is quite common to ask about caste in the villages, that question did not go well with the netizens. Many are of the opinion that the minister should have avoided it.
As per the update last night, there are 272 cases in Telangana. 228 are active cases. The majority of the cases are from the Hyderabad district (104 – 93 active). This is because of the huge Muslim Population and most cases are related to the Nizamuddin Markaz event.
