Janasena President Pawan Kalyan had hinted about going with TDP if needed to defeat YSR Congress. Hell broke loose in YCP and BJP camps.
Both the parties are looking to ensure that Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan do not join hands as that would be a problem for Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Re-election.
BJP is trying to ensure that Jagan comes to power once again so that it can remote control the state government using the cases on the Chief Minister. So, they are trying to create rifts between both the parties.
YSR Congress is trying to insult Pawan Kalyan calling him Package Star and saying he is cheating Janasainiks to help Chandrababu Naidu. They are also trying to instigate TDP saying that it can not win an election going alone.
On the other side, BJP is trying to hoodwink Pawan Kalyan saying that it will ally with TDP only if Pawan Kalyan is the CM candidate. This is obviously a ploy to ensure that the alliance do not happen.
BJP will try to instigate Pawan Kalyan in the name of CM seat and seatsharing. But it is to be noted that Narendra Modi did not give an appointment to Pawan Kalyan after 2019. That said one can estimate the commitment of the party in making Pawan Kalyan the CM candidate.
2024 elections is do or die for Janasena. A new regional party can not sustain two terms in Opposition. Jagan will encroach the party totally if he wins 2024 again. We have seen how he tried to trouble Pawan Kalyan after coming to power.
So, the top priority for Pawan Kalyan is to defeat Jagan in 2024 and become a party of the new government if Janasena have any hopes of surviving going forward.
