Apart from the vaccine of Oxford University, another vaccine is also making remarkable progress. International Pharma Major, Moderna Inc’s vaccine has entered into the late-stage trial to test the effectiveness. Phase 3 is the blinded trial which starts on 30,000 people.
The goal is to make the vaccine available by the end of 2020. The volunteers will be given two shots with 28 days apart. According to the initial trials, this vaccine produced antibody levels higher than recovered COVID patients. The company’s goal is to produce 500 million+ doses starting in 2021.
Across the globe, there are 16.5 Million confirmed Coronavirus cases. The Pandemic has taken 645K lives so far. In India, there are 1.48 Million cases. There are 33,425 deaths. The death rate in the country is low which comes as a huge relief.
The Governments and people across the globe are praying that the Vaccine would arrive before the Medical Infrastructure is crumbled.
