One more MLA in Andhra Pradesh is tested positive for Coronavirus. Kurnool district Kodumuru MLA, Sudhakar is tested positive for the contagious virus. Sudhakar is a doctor himself and also attended the recent Budget session of the Assembly. He reportedly developed symptoms after that.
The Gunmen and other staff of the MLA were sent to the Home Quarantine. The samples of his family were collected and the reports are available. The MLA is currently in Home Quarantine and will be shifted to the isolation ward of Viswa Bharathi Hospital in K. Nagalapuram very soon.
The officials are busy tracing the contacts of the MLA. However, it is not easy to trace them as the MLAs meet several people on a daily basis. Previously, S Kota MLA Srinivasa Rao is also tested positive for Corona. Both these MLAs are of the Ruling YSR Congress Party.
Andhra Pradesh had recorded more than 10,500 Corona cases so far. The contagious virus has so far claimed 136 lives.
