Two camps in Jaipur have clashed on Thursday after a rift arose between them over an objectionable photo of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi in a WhatsApp messenger group. The clash went to an extent that a 33-year-old man was killed and six others injured, five of them seriously. One injured succumbed to his wounds at a hospital, while undergoing treatment.
The two camps have freely used knives on each other. The picture which created the trouble showed the Congress President washing utensils with a satirical caption saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reduced Congress President to such a position. This irked the supporters of Congress in the group.
After the tussle, police reached the spot and asked them to come to police station to sort out their differences. But they resort to fight even at the Police station and stabbed one of them. He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. A case is registered and the police are probing.
