In a strange turn of events, the Nellore city public witnessed a bizarre event of one CI and 15 constables guarding the cutout of Former Minister, YSRCP MLA Anil Kumar Yadav.
This happened on Sunday. Supporters of the former Minister put up a huge cutout at Nartaki Junction on the occasion of Anil Kumar Yadav’s birthday
On Sunday, Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy, who recently joined TDP, had gone to Nartaki junction to garland the statue of NTR. Fearing that the cut-out of Anil Kumar Yadav might be removed or damaged, a huge bandobast was organized at the cutout.
People were surprised that police responsible for the law and order in the city were guarding a cut-out.
It is known that YSRCP has lost all four graduate MLC seats to TDP and tensions are high in the region. Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy is the brought Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy. He rebelled against YSR Congress many days ago and has now been suspended from the party after the allegations of cross-voting.
There are strong rumors that Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy will also be joining TDP soon but there is no confirmation from the Opposition party.
