In retaliation to Indian Airforce’s attack on Terror Camps in Pakistan the other day, Two Pakistan F-16 Fighter Jets tried to enter the Air Space of India targeting the Military Establishments. Vigilant Indian Airforce forced them back and in the process, one F-16 was shot down and the wreckage fell in Pakistan Territory.
The government of India also confirmed that they lost one MiG-21 in this Operation and the Pilot’s location is yet to be traced. On the other side, Pakistan claims that Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman of Indian Air Force is in their custody. The visuals of the Pilot are doing rounds on Social Media.
That almost confirms that the Pilot is in Pakistan custody. The visuals floating in social media also indicate that the captured Pilot is being given no respect as mandated by the Geneva Convention. The entire nation is praying for the Safe Return of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman.
