NTR meeting Amit Shah had fueled so many speculations in the political circles, media, and common people. Many people believe BJP is trying to use NTR to hit the morale of TDP.
NTR could not obviously refuse an invitation by India’s Second Most Powerful man especially because it is in the name of appreciating his performance in RRR.
It is not possible for NTR to support BJP or join the party as he has a vast future in films. But what if as many are speculating?
It is obvious that there are differences between NTR and Nandamuri/Nara families but then, NTR is bonded to Telugu Desam Party like fish and water.
With out any disrespect to NTR’s own charisma, Strength of NTR lies in TDP and that makes him more special than any other star hero. For Lakhs of people, NTR and TDP are inseparable. There is a vast majority of NTR fans who are more loyal to the party than anything else.
Even those who like NTR a bit more strongly believe he would take up the reins of TDP some day in future. NTR leaving TDP for any other party will have serious consequences.
Supporting any other party or joining it makes no sense for NTR as it brings no dividends and will only complicate things.
Also, NTR has issues with TDP leadership and Nandamuri family members but not with TDP and Nandamuri brand.
NTR or anyone in Nandamuri family’s Strength lies in the family name and the party. None of them can take the risk to thinking beyond. We have seen what happened to Hari Krishna when he tried to float a different party.
