Not Three, AP Needs Four Capitals: YSRCP MinisterThe stir of Amaravati farmers against the decision to Trifurcate the Capital has reached the 24th day. The High Power Committee has met the second time today and in all probability, the entire process of the capital shift will be done by the 20th of this month.

While the three capitals idea is being criticized, a YSR Congress Minister brought the argument of four capitals. Housing Minister Cherukuwada Sri Ranganatha Raju went on to say that four Capitals are the need of the hour for Andhra Pradesh and Rajamahendravaram should be made the Cultural Capital of the State so as not to live the Godavari districts behind.

“I will speak to CM Jagan on this issue and also will rake the issue in Assembly,” he said. As if there is not enough criticism on the idea of three capitals, the Minister now wants to have four capitals. It has to be seen if he is serious and if the Chief Minister will take a serious note of it.

Meanwhile, the Bus yatra of Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Amaravati Parirakshana Samiti leaders will reach Rajamahendravaram this evening.
