The Rio Olympic Silver medalist PV Sindhu is growing day by day with her achievements. She didn’t turn back and regret on her failures but she bounced back with the same speed instead. India is proud to say that she is now the world number 2 badminton ranker beating the Rio Olympics Gold medalist.

By winning over the Gold medalist Carolina Marin with whom she lost the gold in Rio, Sindhu has proven that she raised her bar higher and improved a lot from then. The India Open tournament has given another platform for Sindhu to show what she is and what she is capable of. If she hadn’t lost the first round in the India open she would have been the world number 1 ranked in badminton.

In this month she jumped 3 spots down the line and reached the 2nd position. While Saina Nehwal who was the top-ranked earlier, attained the 9th position in the rankings this time. With this pace, it is no longer that Sindhu would become the top ranked in the badminton world. Keep going, girl!
