The seat sharing in Mahakutami is yet to be completed. Even as all the parties are trying to get as many seats as possible, there are no takers for the Seven Assembly Segments that come under Hyderabad Parliament Segment – Charminar, Chandrayangutta, Yakuthpura, Bahadurpura, Malakpet, Karwaan, and Nampally.
Congress wants to push these seats to the allies but those parties are not keen to contest in these seats. “We are ready to forego a couple of seats but want only winnable constituencies,” the parties are saying to Congress. On the other side, the main opposition party thinks that giving these seats will ensure that winnable seats are left for itself.
TRS has ensured friendly contests in all these Assembly segments which will help MIM further. Huge Muslim Population helps MIM big time in these Assembly Segments. MIM, on the other side, is also keen on retaining these seats and as well increase its sway to more segments outside the Hyderabad Parliament Seat.
