Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill -2014 was introduced today in Rajya Sabha amid protests from Seema Andhra MPs. The house was adjourned for seven times but ended with out discussion on the bill. Tension mounted as Deputy Chairman Kurien made heated comments on the protesting members. He used harsh words like ‘Shut Up’, ‘Get Out’ on TDP MPs. And in the morning, CM Ramesh tried to snatch bill papers from Rajya Sabha Secretary and he later apologized preventing action on him.

On the other side, BJP is forcing to move its amendments in Rajya Sabha. In case the amendments are approved by Rajya Sabha, the bill has to go again to Lok Sabha and to give its opinion on the amendments. To avoid this delay, Congress is planning to ignore this amendments but BJP made it clear that it will not support the bill unless its amendments are considered.
