Going by the signals of the Central government, there is no stopping for the Telangana formation. Even as Chief Minister writes for the increase in time for discussion on Telangana bill, our sources say Center had instructed President to decline the request. Also as per rules, Assembly had to send the modifications and recommendations of the members to Center only after the discussion is complete, but to save the time these recommendations are already being sent to Center unofficially. Those will have to be translated in to Hindi and English and have to be placed in the Parliament along with the bill.
On the other side, the Group of Minister (GOM) will meet after January 30th to decide the future course of the bill. They are of the opinion that there will not be any legal hurdles too for the bill and hence they can proceed forwarding it to Parliament when it convenes for vote on account budget in February.
