YS Jagan DictatorPhase-wise prohibition is one of the promises in Jagan’s Navaratnalu. Jagan promised to ensure complete prohibition of liquor and make it available only in Five-star hotels before the 2024 elections.

But the promise is gone and now literally the revenue from liquor sales is driving the Andhra Pradesh Government.

The various freebies of the Jagan Government are running solely on liquor revenue.

There are already three hundred registered liquor brands in AP.

As if they are not enough, the APSBCL has approved ten more new brands and they are allowed to sell the liquor at increased prices than the current prices of the same ones already available.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Government is expecting around 28,000 Crore in revenue from liquor this year.

In 2019, the gross revenue from liquor sales in Andhra Pradesh is only Rs 17,625.78.

As elections are approaching, the sales will zoom further in the days to come.
