Andhra Pradesh Elections are completed in the first phase and there is about one and half month time before the results come. Chandrababu Naidu conducted a review meeting of Polavaram the other day as the next few weeks are crucial for the project as major works are to be completed before the rains.
But then, on the complaint of YSR Congress, Election Commission instructed Chandrababu Naidu not to do any review meetings or Video Conferences as Model Code of Conduct will be in force until the election results are declared. That will mean that the entire administration should come to a stand-still until the results.
This seems to be utmost stupidity to pull down a state in the name of stone-age rules. These review meetings will have zero impact on the results. Election Commission should have gone for early counting for Andhra Pradesh instead of bringing the State to A Stand-Still. Its high time we make some meaningful laws.
