No Need to Investigate Chandrababu Naidu in Cash for VoteHyderabad High Court has given relief to TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu in the Cash for Vote Case. High Court had quashed the directive of the ACB Court to investigate into Chandrababu Naidu’s role in the case. Chandrababu put a Quash Petition in High Court on ACB Court’s directive.

YSR Congress Managalagiri MLA, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy approached the ACB court to interrogate Chandrababu’s role. The Judge questioned Ramakrishna Reddy over his interest in the case. “The victims or the complainants should argue in the case. What do you have in this?”, the court asked.

The court agreed with Chandrababu’s counsel that the TDP Supremo’s role in the case need not be investigated separately. The court also turned down the arguments of former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar. Cash for Vote scam shook Telugu states the last year after Telangana ACB arrested TDP (TS) Working President Revanth Reddy and two others for trying to bribe nominated MLA, Elvis Stephenson to vote in favour of their candidate in the MLC elections then.
