Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has reiterated that his government is committed to ensure loan waiver happens for the every farmer in Andhra Pradesh. Chandra Babu cleared all the apprehensions regarding the program in the wake of RBI refusing to do the loan rescheduling citing technical reasons. “Even if RBI does not allow loans rescheduling, Even if banks do not reschedule loans, we are going to take up this program. We will create wealth from other sources”, Chandra Babu said in the collectors meeting today in Vishakapatnam.
It is known that Reserve Bank of India Chairman Raghu Rama Rajan clarified that the apex bank did not see any reason to do loans rescheduling for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. It is known that Chandra Babu announced 1.5 Lakhs Loan Waiver per family which will make about 97% of the families debt free.But in the wake of the state bifurcation, New Andhra Pradesh is currently having a deficit budget and can not take this burden in the present economic form.
It is known that Loan Waiver to farmers is one of the prime promises of TDP before the elections. Opposition parties are waiting to government fail in this issue and hound the ruling party in this aspect. So, Chandra Babu does not want to leave out any chance to them and fulfill this promise at any cost.
