No-Hurry-for-TIMS,-KCR-Rushes--for-Vaastu-Compliant-SecretariatMore than three months ago, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao had announced the state-of-art 1,500-bed hospital, Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (TIMS) to combat the Corona crisis. The Crisis is going out of the hands in the state but TIMS is yet to be operational.

There are instances of Private Hospitals looting public in the name of treatment. We have heard about a person committing suicide as no hospital admitted him with Corona symptoms. But Telangana Government is still taking its own time in opening the hospital.

Meanwhile, the State Government has started demolition of the Secretariat Building all of sudden and is keen to begin the new Secretariat very soon. The target is to complete the new building in less than a year. This speaks volumes about the Government’s priorities, netizens criticize.

It may be known to our readers that the Central Government has deferred its Central Vista Project (New Parliament Building Project) in Delhi in the eve of Corona Crisis and the predicted economic slowdown. But the Telangana Government is not worried about it. The State which even struggled to give salaries and pensions for about three months is ready to spend around 500 Crore for this construction.
