kcr speech in assembly about farmersTelangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in his statement in the assembly over farmers suicides tried to project the rain gods as villains from the problems of the agriculture in the state. KCR said his own ginger crop harvested in his farm house is doubtful after drought conditions in the state.

“Even I am worried about my Ginger Crop. Even I am looking at the skies for the rain gods”, KCR said in the assembly. He categorically stated that the problems of the farming sector is due to the misrule of the Andhra rulers over the years and can not be corrected over night.

KCR also said he did not fight and attained Telangana to see the suicides of the farmers and his government is committed to curb this problem once for all. KCR also said that there are 364 seed companies in Hyderabad which cater for the needs of 60% of the country. He lamented the fate of the state which is a granary of seeds in one side and farmers committing suicides on the other side.
