In the wake of recent Drug Rackets Bust and the news of Students falling prey for drugs, Parents are not allowing their children to go for Goa holiday where the drug culture is rampant. Several Travel agencies have got a request for the cancellation of already booked trips.
Prohibition and Excise Director (Enforcement) Akun Sabharwal asks the parents to be sure who they are going with and make sure that they are apprised of their wards’ activities if they allow their children to go for Goa vacation.
On the other side, Excise Enforcement Department had served notices to 16 Pubs in Hitec City, Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills where the managements are said to be either supplying drugs or turning a blind eye towards drugs usage in their pubs.
