Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena has got the much awaited Recognition from the Election Commission. However the announcement did not stir any excitement from fans as much as it did when the party was launched. There were hardly any celebrations across the Telugu states even in the strong holds of Pawan Kalyan or the areas where Kapus are dominant. Analysts see two reasons for this dullness. The first one is the routine after elections fatigue. Since the next election is some 4.5 years away, it is quite common for the cadre to stay relaxed.
The second reasons perhaps may be threatening to the party as well as Pawan’s political career. Experts say that fans and his supporters base were disappointed with the actor staying totally away from the political sphere. There are doubts all over regarding the seriousness of the actor in this new party. Pawan Kalyan has the history of starting things very well but leaving them all alone midway.
Reports are emerging that Jana Sena is looking to contest few local body elections coming soon. The party is totally in hibernation with no membership drives, no party building etc. Even Pawan Kalyan’s close friend Raju Ravitej who the actor termed as his prime motivator towards politics, is said to be staying away from him and the party affairs for some reason.
