Union Minister Nirmala Sitaraman slashed down the rumours of a possible change of the Governor of both the Telugu States. Speaking to media in Delhi, she said that there is no such option being considered by the central government. There are series of negative stories on current Governor ESL Narasimhan.
He is seen as acting more favourable to Telangana government in various issues cropping between both the states after the bifurcation. There are speculations that Narasimhan will be replaced by Kerala Governor Sadasivan.
ESL Narasimhan, an EX-IAS officer was appointed by the previous UPA government during the peak Telangana Agitation time. The subsequent NDA government also continued him as he is fully aware of the problems between both the states.
