On the last day of election campaign, YSR Congress President, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had announced that he is ready to join Bharatiya Janta Party at the center after the election. BJP Senior Leader Venkaiah Naidu gave a clarification on this in a Newspaper interview today, “Our alliance partner in AP, TDP is a non Congress party. We are certain that we will not join hands with TDP opposition parties in the state. Jagan Reddy is confused about his future and is making such statements”, Venkaiah said.
The Senior BJP leader also reiterated that NDA is all set to get the majority required to form the government on its own and are sure that they will not have to search for new allies after the election results. Venkaiah also came down heavily on family politics of YSR Congress. “Are they freedom fighters? How can six members of a family contest in elections?”, asked Venkaiah.
