Senior BJP Leader Prakash Javadekar who is looking in to the alliances of BJP in Andhra Pradesh has confirmed that there are no talks going on with Telangana Rashtra Samiti for a possible alliance. He stated that talks are progressing for an alliance with TDP and they are taking time due to the changes in the states recently. Both the parties are keen to have an alliance before the elections but there is a deadlock situation as both the parties are being rigid in getting major share in the alliance.
TDP is not ready to forego seats with hugh settlers population in Telangana but BJP is asking the same. Similarly, BJP is asking for unreasonable high number of seats in Seema Andhra region despite not having significant presence there. Pressure is on both the parties to wrap up things quickly as the nominations have also started in Telangana region.
