Niti Aayog has busted the lies of the central government about the non submission of utilization certificate by Andhra Pradesh government regarding the funds for the backward areas. According to Andhra Pradesh reorganization act, the backward districts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are entitled to special funds.
Accordingly, the Central government is giving 50 crores for each backward districts in both the states. But then after TDP pulled out of the NDA government, the central government stop the funds from the last financial year saying that the state did not submit the utilization certificate. The state government recently once again submitted the certificates to Niti Aayog.
Niti Aayog wrote to the central government to immediately release the funds. It also mentioned that state government submitted the Utilization certificate in proper order. It also specifically mentioned that the Utilization Certificates previously submitted were also in order. This indicates that the BJP is intentionally trying to Malign the TDP government as well as deprive funds to the state.
