Nine-TDP-MLAs-Suspended-from-AP-AssemblyAndhra Pradesh High Court had taken up the discussion about the future of Amaravati in the Assembly today. The Government did not give any clarity about continuing the Capital but tried to make allegations on the previous Government. Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy told the house that TDP leaders bought 4070 acres through their Benamis before the capital announcement.

Telugu Desam Party took a strong objection to this allegation and said that the Government is trying to kill Amaravati in the garb of insider trading. The party MLAs resorted to a protest in the house against these allegations without any proofs.

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy rose from his seat and asked the Speaker to suspend those members from the house for trying to disrupt the proceedings of the house. Accordingly, nine TDP MLAs were suspended for one day from the house.

Nimmala Ramanaidu, Achennaidu, Ramakrishna Babu, Samba Sivarao, Veeranjaneya Swamy, Maddali Giri, Ashok, Gadde Ram Mohan Rao, and Anagani Satya Prasad are those who were suspended. This is the first suspension in this session of the Assembly.
