NIA which was asked to investigate into Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Kodi Kathi Case approached Andhra Pradesh High Court asking the court to direct Vishakapatnam Police to furnish all the documents and evidence collected in this case so far. Vishakapatnam Police have been rejecting them citing no orders from the court or the State Government.
NIA is also asking the court to transfer the case to Vijayawada Police. NIA may also ask for the custody of the accused Srinivasa Rao who is in the remand. YSR Congress is alleging that the Police department is intentionally not co-operating with NIA since they do not want the truth to be out.
YSR Congress is of the opinion that it is a clear case of Assassination attempt on the Opposition Leader aided by the State Government. So, it has got NIA investigation approaching the High Court. It has to be seen if there will be any new twists in this case after the NIA’s investigation.
