285.3 Crore Liquor Sales APAndhra Pradesh is supposed to be the second state with Prohibition on liquor after Gujarat but is making merry with liquor sales.

For New Year, the Government allowed the sale of liquor until 1 AM and that has shown results.

Liquor worth 285.3 Crore is sold in just three days before the New Year. On December 31st, the state’s liquor sales were a whopping 127 Crore Rupees.

A day before that (December 30th), liquor worth 86 Crore Rupees has been sold. On 29th, 72.3 Crore worth of liquor sales happened.

There will be significant numbers today as well i.e., January 1st.

The average Liquor Sales in Andhra Pradesh on Normal days is around 72 Crore Rupees.

From Prohibition to minting money from people’s weakness and running Government entirely from liquor money, Jagan Mohan Reddy has come a long way.
