New Twist in Chandrababu Naidu's Undavalli House Issue? After Razing Down Praja Vedika, Andhra Pradesh Government has served Demolition Notices to the house of Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. It is a rented accommodation belonging to the Lingamaneni group, constructed on Krishna river bank. The Notices were also sent to the Owner.

However, there is a new twist in the issue after the house owners claim that they have all the necessary permissions which were issued in 2013 well before Chandrababu Naidu came to Power in 2014 after the state bifurcation. Undavalli Panchayat has been even collecting House and Water Tax from the owners for the same.

The Permission letters and the sanction notice for the conversion of Agriculture land to non-agriculture land are released to the media. This may pose new problems for the government which is keen on demolishing the Buildings after one week.

The officials who are trying to issue notices to the rest of the buildings on Krishna River Bank are met with similar responses. Much to the disappointment of the government, these permissions were obtained before Chandrababu’s rule. So, demolition of the buildings may run into legal issues now.
