New Ministers of Telangana and Their PortfoliosThe full-fledged Cabinet in Telangana is finally here. Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath by the new ministers a little while ago. KCR had inducted 10 members into his cabinet which takes the number to 12 including himself. Except for Khammam, all the old districts were accommodated in this expansion.

KCR has avoided taking MLCs into the cabinet and the first timers like Singireddy Niranjan Reddy, Koppula Eshwar, Errabelli Dayakara Rao, Vemula Prashanth Reddy, Mallareddy, and V. Srinivas Goud form the majority in the Cabinet. There is no representation for Women and ST classes in the cabinet.

According to the 91st Amendment to the Constitution, the size of all ministries in India stipulates that the strength of a council of ministers should not exceed 15 percent of the total number of members in the State Assembly. Telangana can have 18 Ministers but there are only 12 ministers including the Chief Minister.

Another expansion is planned after the Parliament Elections.TRS Working President K Taraka Ramarao and Siddipet MLA, Harish Rao were kept out of the cabinet to use them for the Party Campaign in the upcoming Elections. Here is the list of new ministers and their Portfolios:
