The YSRCP government recently arrested and harassed a social media activist from TDP for putting up objectionable comments against Jagan and his government.
Not stopping there, they also revealed his sexual orientation which raised a furor among TDP activists and people of Andhra Pradesh, who see it as an act of revenge on a common man.
Adding fuel to the fire, YSRCP spokesperson and ex-minister Perni Nani has created trouble for his party YSRCP and Jagan by making objectionable comments during a press talk.
Following a comment by TDP leader Atchannaidu that many people from YSRCP were in touch with TDP and that they were begging to join TDP, Nani commented, “Why will anyone be in touch? Is he gay to be in touch with him? (referring to Atchannaidu). Why will men be in touch with men?”
At a time when the credibility of YSRCP and Jagan Mohan Reddy is at an all-time low, it is better for the YSRCP people to control their tongues and stop making such instigating comments.
In this age of social media, such derogatory comments and language can backfire big time. People are also quite enraged by the way YSRCP is indulging in revenge politics instead of working on the welfare of the Andhra people.
