Maoists Trying to Change Banned 500 1000 Rupees NotesReports are emerging that Maoists are trying to change the banned notes through villagers in Chhattisgarh. Reports are emerging that Maoists have distributed money upto 4000 per person in some villages under their control. Local Police have information about this and are conducting raids on the villages.

Police are maintaining strict vigil on the villages known for Maoist influence. They are making announcements in the villages asking not to fall for Maoists and cases will be levied on those who are said to be helping them. According to an estimate, Maoists have about 7500 Crore of Banned Notes hidden in secret dumps.

Their secret stashes of Currency are lying in pits with no hopes on the exchange. Recent friction in Odisha border is also making their movement impossible. So exchanging money through villagers seems to be the only option for them. With some strict vigil till December 30th, Police can really hit hard on the Maoists.
