Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu called for a Special Press Meet and lambasted the BJP Government alleging that it is trying to destabilize his government. Naidu embarrassed the BJP led Central Government not only on the issues pertaining to the state but also on the broader issues at the National Level.
This is the second such Press Meet of Naidu lambasting the Center after TDP pulled out of the NDA Government. But then, BJP seems to be well prepared for this attack by Naidu and the Central Government blacked out Naidu’s Speech on all the important National Channels. Most channels even did not air Naidu’s Pressmeet with a delay.
Media Personnel from most media houses have attended the Pressmeet but the media houses were given strict warnings not to air the content. It is a pity that the party which gives lectures on Freedom of Speech and Constitutional Values resort to such arm-twisting and in this case, it is an elected Chief Minister.
Earlier in the day, Naidu met National Leaders like Mayawati, Yashwant Sinha, Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy, Farooq Abdullah, and Arvind Kejriwal. He told them that the Central Government is hatching a conspiracy to destabilize his government and trying to arm-twist his government via the Governor.
