Prime Minister Narendra Modi was supposed to address a Public Meeting in Mangalagiri on 6th of this month but the meeting got canceled. To ensure the spirit of Karyakatas is not dampened, Modi is interacting with the Booth-level Workers of the Party via the NAMO App. On the other side, the Prime Minister will visit AP in February.
State BJP Unit is planning the Prime Minister’s Meetings not at one Place but in Two Places. They are planning to have Modi’s Public Meetings in Guntur and Nellore. They have already sought the Prime Minister’s time and tour itinerary is being worked out. It will be interesting to see if the Prime Minister shower any new projects to the State.
The last time when the Prime Minister visited Andhra Pradesh, he just got Water and Mud for Andhra Pradesh. It is also not easy for the Prime Minister to convince the people about why BJP has gone back on all key promises made to AP after 2014. This is the first visit of the Prime Minister to AP after TDP pulled out of the NDA Government.
The Prime Minister has become critical of Chandrababu Naidu in recent times and so these meetings will be interesting. Modi extensively campaigned for BJP in the recent Telangana Elections but that party lost deposits in 103 segments of the total 118 segments it has contested winning just one seat.
