Shiv Sena MPs including the Union Minister of the Party, Anant Geete gharoed Union Civil Aviation Minister, Ashok Gajapathi Raju as he refused to intervene in the ban of Shiv Sena MP, Ravindra Gaikwad in Air India and other airlines. This happened right in Lok Sabha and what is shameful is that a party of the ruling coalition and a Union Minister is involved.

Ashok Gajapathi Raju is known to be an outspoken and honest Minister and he stood for an employee of the government airlines. It is a natural expectation that the Speaker takes some action on the unruly MPs of Shiv Sena.

But then, the ruling party prevented that just because Shiv Sena blackmailed to boycott NDA partners meeting which decides BJP’s President Candidate. Shiv Sena’s numbers are crucial for the victory of BJP’s candidate and so, Modi government brushed the issue under the carpet.

Shiv Sena also laid a condition that the Airlines Ban of the MP was to be lifted and the government promised to do that. The government insisted on an apology letter from the MP only after TDP said nothing doing. In short, Modi let down a minister just for the support of Shiv Sena. This is definitely not what people expect from someone like Narendra Modi.
