Saffron Wave seems to be smearing its colour on India. With BJP winning Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat, the tally of BJP ruled states go up to 19. Just before winning 2014 elections, BJP has just Seven States in its kitty.
Modi becoming the Prime Minister and the Modi Wave Changed the scenario Congress just has four states in its tally now with Karnataka going to the election the next year and it is said to be not easy to retain power there.
Winning Karnataka will mean that BJP is making inroads to South. As of now, BJP only has Andhra Pradesh in the South where it is a Minority Partner along with Telugu Desam Party. Let us see what 2018 has in store for India.
