Due to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tight schedule, there will be no public meeting to mark the inauguration of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project. Public meetings are usually organized for the dedication of major projects by Prime Minister.
The state government proposed one at Miyapur Station but the PMO did not agree as the Prime Minister could not give an hour of his time. Even for the state BJP Leaders, Modi spared only 10 minutes for a ‘political reception’ in his honour.
After being received by the Governor, the Chief Minister and some Ministers at Begumpet Airport, Modi will come over to a special stage being erected by BJP leaders near the entrance. He will just receive greetings from party leaders and wave to the cadre. There is no chance of address, sources say
