KCR - Etela - RajendraReports are emerging that 40 TRS MLAs have got IT Notices. Their Assets have increased multiple times when compared 2018 Affidavits with their respective Affidavits of 2014. IT Department sought proofs of their income sources in stipulated time. Chief Minister KCR and Former Minister KTR also received such notices.

Besides them, Minister Eetela Rajendra, MLAs – Marri Janardhan Reddy, Gangula Kamalakar, A. Ramesh, Jeevan Reddy, and others have also got the notices. TRS suspects foul play by the BJP led Central Government in this issue. They think this may be a trap to force TRS to support NDA Government they feel.

TRS has asked the MLAs to forward the Notices to TRS Bhavan. All the replies to the notices are being prepared by the accountants of the MLAs and will be cross-checked by the TRS appointed Accountants before sending them to the Department. This is to ensure that no MLA will be in trouble.

This is the first time a party MLAs have received such large scale notices. TRS MLAs are also the highest among the country to receive IT Notices based on the Election Affidavits. However, the department says that this is a routine procedure and has got nothing to do with Politics. But a stubborn man KCR and this arm-twisting tactics may backfire on BJP.
