YSR Congress Government has gone the extra mile to impress Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They have congregated Three Lakh people for the public meeting in Vizag as if it is their own party’s event.
Rajya Sabha MP Vijayasai Reddy oversaw all the arrangements by camping in Vizag for the last few days. Chief Minister Jagan praised Modi sky-high in his speech.
But then all these efforts did not yield any results. Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not even mention the name of the Chief Minister or the efforts of the state government.
He did not praise the state government or acknowledge its work for state development even as a formality.
The Prime Minister’s speech is fully about the work of his own government and self-praise.
Forget the Prime Minister, even Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also avoided taking Jagan’s name.
This has disappointed YSR Congress which has planned a massive promotional campaign if there is the slightest praise from the Prime Minister.
