The Union Government’s move to repeal Article 370 and Article 35A which bring Jammu and Kashmir under Indian Constitution has put TRS in a Spot of Bother. TRS is a close ally of MIM which is opposing this move tooth and nail. Any statement in support of it will irk the partner.
Muslim Population is the highest in Hyderabad after Kashmir. The Ruling Party of Telangana is also worried that any support may irk the people here. At the same time, the move of the BJP government is winning accolades from the majority of people across the country. Even Modi’s bitter rival like Chandrababu extended his support to it.
TRS will be left out if they do not support this movie. By the time of writing this article, neither Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao nor TRS Working President, KTR responded on the issue. Former MP and KCR’s Daughter, Kavitha responded on Twitter but her tweet has no indication of TRS stance.
“In this moment of monumental change being made with respect to reorganization of #JammuAndKashmir & #Article370 my prayers are with the people of J&k. Hope they will be safe & soon peace will prevail over Kashmir,” Kavitha Tweeted with a veil on the party’s stance on the issue.
