The Union Cabinet Rejig is now done and dusted. This is probably the last Cabinet Reshuffle before 2019 elections. There is no representation of Telangana in the Union Cabinet as Modi asked for the resignation of the sole representation from the state, Bandaru Dattatreya.
If at all, KCR considers BJP as a threat to TRS, he will never hesitate to use the card of discrimination towards Telangana by Modi and Shah. KCR is wary about BJP’s ambitions in the state. BJP is currently raking the Liberation Day issue.
In a way, Modi and Amit Shah have given a weapon to KCR to fight BJP in Telangana. On the other side, Kishan Reddy is reportedly very angry at being ignored in this expansion. There are rumours that he is growing inconvenient in BJP day by day.
