Nara Lokesh - covid-19-coronavirusFormer Minister and TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh has been tested positive for COVID-19. The MLC revealed this himself on his Twitter account. He is said to be asymptomatic and is feeling well. He has gone into isolation, according to the norms.

“I have tested positive for COVID-19. I’m asymptomatic and feeling fine but will be self-isolating until recovery. I request those who have come in contact with me to get tested at the earliest and take necessary precautions. Urging everyone to stay safe,” Lokesh tweeted.

Get Well Soon messages are pouring in from the TDP cadres. Lokesh has been avoiding crowds but he meets leaders on a daily basis. Despite stringent measures in place, COVID-19 has managed to find its way to Lokesh. The others in the family are said to be doing well.

The third wave is gripping the country with consistently clocking over 2.5 Lakh cases per day. Andhra Pradesh is recording around 5,000 cases while Telangana is around 2,500 cases. Luckily, this variant seems to be less serious with very few hospitalizations and oxygen needing cases.
