Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has sat for a 36 hours Deeksha against the attacks on TDP Offices. The Deeksha happening at the Party’s Central Office in Mangalagiri will conclude at 8 PM today. Leaders across the state have joined Naidu as a solidarity to the fast.
One thing has attracted everyone and has become a talking point at the Deeksha. TDP General Secretary and Chandrababu’s scion, Nara Lokesh chose to sit with the leaders and cadre avoiding sitting on the stage. Lokesh seems to be trying to strike a chord with the cadre and things like this will go a long way in establishing a connect with them.
Lokesh has been a victim of a character assassinating social media campaign between 2014 and 2019. No attempts have been made to nullify the campaign back and the realization has dawned only after the electoral defeat. Since then a cautious attempt is being to get closer to the audience and the people.
The young leader also decreased a lot of weight and is speaking more comfortably before media these days. While a sincere attempt is being made, the result of that can be gauged only in 2024 elections.
