Nara Lokesh Not Interested in Playing SafeTDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu is busy finalizing the candidates for the upcoming Elections. TDP is ahead of the other parties in finalizing the candidates. All eyes are on Nara Lokesh who will be contesting the elections for the first time. Earlier they said Lokesh will be contesting from Chandrababu’s Kuppam which should be a safe seat.

But Lokesh does not want that as it gives a wrong impression about him playing safe. Already he is facing the heat of entering the Cabinet as an MLC. Later other TDP seats like Peddakurapadu in Guntur District and Penamaluru in Krishna District but somehow Lokesh did not show any interest.

It is emerging that Lokesh is keen on contesting from Bheemili which is the sitting seat of Ghanta Srinivasa Rao. TDP always won from Bheemili since its inception except for 2004 and 2009 elections. In 2004, TDP candidate lost with just 241 votes. Since 2014, Bheemili saw very good development.

Moreover, Lokesh contesting from there will have an effect on the entire Uttarandhra and will brighten the prospects of TDP. Ghanta may contest from Vishakapatnam North which was given to BJP in the last election. Vishnu Kumar Raju is representing the constituency. Clarity on that may emerge in the next couple of weeks.
