BC Colony in Nidamarru of Mangalagiri constituency did not even have proper roads. People there are struggling even to walk and they brought it to the notice of Former Minister Nara Lokesh.
Lokesh immediately made arrangements to lay the roads with own funds and engaged local TDP leaders to begin work. But the Government is creating problems for the road works.
They have purchased Concrete Dust to fill the potholes on the road from a local Ready Mix company in Chinna Kakani. The tractors bringing the concrete dust were seized by the local police and the drivers were arrested on Sunday.
TDP local leaders rushed to Mangalagiri Rural Police Station and staged a protest. They demanded the reason for the arrests. The Police released the tractors and the owners on Sunday midnight.
It is not known if an FIR has been registered.
